Collegiate Ministry Summit '10 Conference

Keynote Speaker
Dr. Steve Hayner, President of Columbia Theological Seminary was our Keynote Speaker.
Dr. Haynor has had a career incorporating campus ministry, college administration, President of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA, church pastor, and college and seminary professor.

 
 Worship Minimize

Worship leadership was provided byKeith Harris and  "The Table", from Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina, MN. They lead a creative, interactive, and innovative young adult alternative service there. They also participated in the GA  Sunday Worship Service.

Previous SUMMIT

Summit II was held in Richmond, Virginia in June, 2006 with the theme, "Space for Grace."

SUMMIT '10 gathered over 60 collegiate ministry leaders for reflection and community building.

General Assembly

The 219th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) was held July 3- 10, 2010, at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota.




Summit '10 participants had the opportunity to visit the Exhibit Hall and to attend the Ellection of the Moderator on Saturday night. The conference concluded with the awesome and moving General Assembly's Sunday Morning Worship.

A number of folks stayed on to staff the Collegiate Ministries Booth and to participate in the Assembly committee work.

The theme,
Gather at the Well
reflects the objectives of the conference: to gather collegiate ministry leaders and to help them draw on the resources of their faith as well as the encouragement and support of others engaged in ministry with college students.
